Section 20 Notices:

Section 20 Notices are leaseholder consultation notices that must be issued before individual items of expenditure that are cost more than  £250 multiplied by the number of properties. Therefore, any individual item of expenditure in excess of £4,000 must go through this process. The notices include a Notice of Intention (a notice of intent to undertake works) followed by and a Notice of Proposal (that cannot be issued until at least 30 days have passed, that will set out the proposed cost).
